I have an Excel Spreadsheet set up for power rankings. Does any one want it, or at least help me with it.
I'd like to get a before and after the Winter League...plus it's a great feature for the league.
Also, I can't figure out how to get an Excel onto a web site. So if you can get this working too, that's awesome.

John, I'll help in anyway I can.. but I think we've been down this road before.. lol.
I say ditch the excel format...
or save it as an HTML file from excel, then upload it to some webspace on geocities or somethin..
anyway, i'd be more than happy to help you with this, becuase it would give me an opportunity to get to know this league better... hit me up.

SD has been kind enough to help as well. I guess I may be able to set something up in word.
I liked the excel because I can cut and paste rows, making it easy to re-rank teams, and I use macro's to autocalculate the actual rankings.
I'm open to other formats though..just need to find something else I like, that works.

any chance of sum1 posting the power rankings before the winter league up on the site somewhere? The last power ratings came out in an e-mail titled IYFBL - Power Rankings 1-15-07 with an excel spread sheet attached. The text read: Gentlemen, Leading into the winter league, we have our first official power rankings. Bare with us, as we had nothing to base this off of other than last years record & offseason moves. I'm sure it will change as the winter league answers some questions...or raises some...?!? Enjoy. And give a big thank you to Jason (Padres) for collaborating. We both worked on it from our desks at work.. PS...I apoligize in advance if you don't have Microsoft Excel. I have published a HTML, but the logos probably won't show up since I haven't linked them (Nate, if you think you can get it, please run with it). John Mets. I am unable to copy the spreadsheet (including the comments), but the rankings were as follows: 1. Dodgers 2. Cubs 3. Mariners 4. Mets 5. Astros 6. Indians 7. Athletics 8. Padres 9. Cardinals 10. Marlins 11. Pirates 12. Yankees 13. Royals 14. Braves 15. Giants 16. Twins 17. Rockies 18. Devil Rays 19. Reds 20. Diamond Backs 21. Blue Jays 22. Angels 23. Phillies 24. Red Sox 25. White Sox 26. Nationals 27. Orioles 28. Rangers 29. Tigers 30. Brewers

I'm willing to help out again, if you want to work from your desk like last time.

Tampa has volunteered to help this time.
SD, since you know how it works, I can send you the file and you two can work together. I don't have to be involved with it every time.
Also, I think it might be wise to wait until after the draft tonight, so that we can get an accurate ranking of the teams without GM's.
