We know Santana is the best pitcher in the majors, but who's the second best?
If I missed someone, then post who it is.

You guys really think Brandon Webb will pitch consistently like last year? I think he will pitch more like he had before 2006 which is still great but not best pitcher in the NL like. I think both Oswalt and Carp deserved the CY over him. He blew it at the end of the season.

I went with Oswalt here as well. He's jut been so consistent. I really think he's overlooked.
In the end, I hope he doesn't end up as this generation's Bert Blyleven: An outstanding pitcher that was overshadowed by a few elite pitchers. Oswalt definitely is outstanding.

Carlos Zambrano has won 60+ games and he's only 26. If he stay healthy, which he has been, he has a legit shot at 250+ wins.

I went with Carpenter. He should have won his second straight Cy Young award last year(Oswalt also had a case, but numbers overall were in favor of Carp). For two straight years, Chris Carpenter has been the most feared pitcher in the NL.
