Okay, here is the deal - I just installed the winter league database, and I notice that its likely I have a few holes going into the 07 season. I don't know for sure if Soriano will project at 2b. I don't like the idea of starting Joqain Arias going into the year at SS.
I have a glut of OFers, some without a place to play.
Bobby Abreu - RF
Vernon Wells - CF
Alfonso Soriano - LF
Matt Holliday - LF
Willy Taveras - CF
Ross Gload - LF/RF
I could use a C upgrade, and a 1B upgrade as well. Lots of holes, and areas that present opportunities for upgrades... I'm gonna put everyone on my team on the block, except for Kazmir.
Speaking of SP, I also lack depth - its Kazmir, Maine, McCarthy, and pray for Lincecum. I need to add a quality arm or two.
I am not gonna deal guys like Wells/Soriano/Holliday/Atkins on the cheap, so come prepared with your best offer... younger players are preferred for the Marlin's franchise direction. I do value prospects, but since this is a "win now" league, I prefer for them to be in the database - though if they're good enough, I spose it doesn't really matter.
