Pretty sure that a couple of those guys aren't available. I know I traded Marshall to Baltimore this summer, I signed Sosa last week. Hamilton is owned by the Braves?

Seay should be available. I almost signed him last week as well.

05 and 06 draft picks are fair game now. Just tell me if you have taking a player that needs to be created. (only 06 draft picks require a different designation - your draft slots are currently vacant so you have 5 slots you can fill). Read the rules quickly on draft picks, for now the 06 players occupy your 5 draft slots. When the 07 draft starts in January, you either have to move them to your 40 man roster or waive them. Only 07 draft guys will be able to occupy your draft slots once the new player draft starts.

This is one of the ways the IYFBL discourages stockpiling players and so far as lent itself to competitive balance. If you really value a player that young, after his initial draft year, you will have to use a valuable roster spot to keep him.

Josh Hamilton and Sean Marshall are database duplicates that need to deleted when things roll over into the Winter Season. Oswaldo Sosa is on the Mets.

We will draft '07 players in Dec/Jan. Those players will have a "7" designation. Those players don't have to be on your 40 man roster, we get 5 "draft spots".

Now, if there is a player that is not in the old Disk, i.e. Josh Hamilton, he carries a "0" designation until the next Disk.

So, at this point, if you sign any player that is not in the DB yet, or an '07 player, we just call them a "created player" or "0".

Important note, after the disk comes out in March, you are given one week to make sure you only have 5 (five) "created players" on your "40 man" roster. At that time, if you end up with more than 5 players not in the new disk, you have a week to trade/release the 'extras'.

Extra, Extra point, when trading for prospects in this league, as opposed to other leagues, you want to make sure that most of your prospects have a good shot at being in the disk.
