You are able to drop people right now, but because of the roster freeze you can not sign anyone. Same would go for your other signing.

That should have been done 24 hours after it started. A signing freeze should never go past 48 hours! And, personally speaking, there should never be a freeze do to the "Season (winter) Disk"! The only players that are in there were guys who played in the show in 2007, so it's not like there are any suprises. |

This is an excerpt from an email Rich released last week. Important Points: There is a SIGNING FREEZE effectively IMMEDIATELY (excluding the draft of course). We are going to take a few days to give everyone a chance to review their roster and prepare for any waiver claims they want to make. If you see something wrong with your roster you have until Sunday at midnight to let me know. Starting on Sunday at midnight, all players not on teams go on 24 hour waivers. Valid claims for players received by me BY EMAIL will be processed on Monday and awards will be made announced on Tuesday. This sign/release (and the other Giants posted sign/release) was actually made during the Monday waiver period and therefore will be processed as such.
Transaction complete and in the database.
