As the league encourages trash talk, the Giants must show what a blow-hard really is.
The Giants inherited the team with the WORST record last year. What you won't be seeing is a short-sighted loser who goes gung-ho in the off-season, then disappears in July after he figures out what a dumb-ass he is and still runs a piss-poor, last place team.
My Giants have shed aging players (Alou, Sheffield, Sweeney, Sheets, Howry, Dye) who have value, but still were on a last-place team, and now has young, productive players (Lopez, Kemp, Ethier, Niemann, Johnson, Granderson, Bonser, Quentin, Lind and other minor leaguers, to go with Swisher, Nolasco, Robertson, and an endless bullpen and promising minor league starters) which will turn the Giants from 2006 losers, to a scary-good 2007 team, and a DOMINANT 2008 team.
Mark my words and be very afraid! The Giants will be the team of the decade in this league!
Good luck to all, Kelly SFG

I'm still assessing how I'd like to proceed with the Toronto organization, but I'm leading towards blowing it up like you have.
The ALE is going to be a dogfight, and I'd think everything would have to go pretty much perfectly for me to win the division outright... I'm not lacking talent, so I should be able to get some good value if I decide to dismantle this sucker.
I dunno, while I have some elite talent, there are still some holes on my squad, at least for my standards... and the team doesn't have my stamp on it yet...
I figure to have any sentimental attachment to it, I might have to break it down and build it back up.. but meh..
You got some solid young talent out west there, but I am still in unfamiliar territory with this league... I have no idea how your division looks. What are the best divisions in this league?
I'm soley focused on gearin up for the draft right now, then I will figure out how I want to proceed with the blue birds...
Hey Bishop, are there still any open franchises? I'm starting to wonder why I took an AL franchise.. the DH is teh gay.

The NL Central was a dogfight last year, 4 real good teams and if JP's team could hit worth a crap there would have been 5.
There are currently just 7 openings (see the draft order for what is open). We are sitting pretty good, although I was hoping to be full by now. Jagger has been a big help in this area.
