If there is enough objection I will put it to a league vote. "Guest" votes aren't going to count, you'll have to log in.

Wow...if we're going to judge two prospects because they got knocked around in their first go at the bigs, I better unload Adenhart fast.
I also wasn't aware that being a World Series MVP was a measure of anything more than the 4-7 games a player plays during a series in October.
For example:
Eckstein's slash stats for last season: 292/350/344. He plays average defense at best.
After I made the trade, I picked up Jason Smith as a free agent. Last year, in albeit a small sample size, he put up 263/324/424, plus he rates as a slightly better defense player than Eck.
This gives Eck an OPS of 694, and Smith an OPS of 748. I'm not saying that Smith is better than Eck, just that his value will not be that hard to replace. I can either trade for or platoon guys that will give me roughly the production at the bottom of my order that Eck would have.
In return, I got the third best prospect in the Rangers' system according to BA, plus a nice looking wild card-type of prospect in Devine, who I have since moved for a draft pick and Ben Zobrist.
Personally, I think I did just fine.

Jason, you don't owe anyone an explination, it's all up to the individual. I thought you took the Commish to the cleaners! Like the rules say: Again, this league is for GM's to build their teams the way they see fit.Just for the record, I offered a reliever with a 1.73 ERA and another reliever with a 4.74 ERA for that reliever with the 9.95 ERA and was rejected! By the way Commish, can you delete those Guest comments?

Not worried about defending myself. Just like the opportunity to talk baseball.
After all, isn't that why we're generating fake baseball stats in the first place?
;D

Speaking of "Talkin Baseball" and the Tigers, how about this:
Tigers gM Dave Dombrowski told WXYT-AM on Wednesday the team had concluded Joel Zumaya's wrist/forearm troubles at the end of the season came from playing the Playstation 2 game "Guitar Hero," not anything pitching related.
It's only the beginning; just wait until next year when all of the Wii-related injuries begin to strike.
