This is a waiver claim within the 24 hour window. The Cubs released Denorfia and the transaction was processed at 10:10 yesterday.
Transaction complete and in the database. Waiver Order updated.

d**n dog...I know the rules, but it sucks that the Cubs released him 10 days ago, and it was still a waiver claim.
Like i said, I know the rules...but still sucks.

It does suck. Especially when you have waited the ten days then the commish makes the move and all you have is 24 hours to wait and then one hour before the waiver period is over someone else signs the guy out from under ya. I was going to sign him just wasnt going to waste a waiver claim on him. By the way he is still on the DL just in case you didnt know.
